More on IELTS
The Listening part of the IELTS test is the first written test given on the actual testing day. It lasts for 30-40 minutes and consists of 40 questions. An examinee gets a questionnaire and will be instructed later on to transfer all his or her answers on the answer sheet. The IELTS listening test is the most challenging test among the four areas of English tested.
Examinees need to sharpen their listening skills by listening to different English audio or podcasts and be familiar with different accents, especially British, American and Australian. An examinee also needs to widen his or her vocabulary and comprehension to be able to ace the IELTS listening test.
