Writing is the third and last test given on the exam day and for most IELTS examinees the IELTS writing component is the killer test. It is very difficult and can be very technical. Examinees are asked to complete two tasks, for task one academic students’ task is to describe a graph, table, charts and the like while general training students’ will be asked to write a letter, for task one applicants’ are given more or less twenty minutes to write no more less than 150 words.

Task two is the same for both academic and general training students, the task is for the examinees to write an article of no less than 250 words about a certain topic within more or less forty minutes.
